Do you ever just want a snack but you don’t want to eat the highly processed, fat ladened, additive filled store bought crisps?
Whenever I was on my journey towards my healthier lifestyle I wanted to be able to enjoy a snack on a Saturday evening with the rest of the family but not eat what used to be my favourite crisps – an open bag was an empty bag 😉 and that could have been a large bag at that!! I had tried to eat them again but they just tasted wrong!!
So mission – Try to create a healthier version began.
I am delighted to say that this is such an easy recipe to follow and make! Once you master this crisp recipe and get your flavourings the way that you like them, you will never eat the store bought crisps again.

If you need a good mandolin, this one seems to be good and good value for money too.
We have had people who have made these crisps with paprika, turmeric and lots of sea salt and they love them. I now use these “crisps” as my potato of choice whenever I am having a good old fashioned steak. They are delicious!
